It doesn’t matter whether you are planning a few weeks away or just a weekend break you want to make sure that the holiday runs smoothly. Part of this is making sure that everyone who goes has a good time. When you sit down to decide on what holiday you are going to take you need to consider the ages and likes of people that are going. Often this is hard with a family because ages vary. A holiday on a complex is great for this because they usually have kids clubs, pools and other kid’s entertainment as well as things for the adults to enjoy. However if you are going away with a group of 18 year olds then you probably just want somewhere closer to town & other entertainment. Do your research when you decide what type of holiday you want before you decide where exactly you are going to stay. Try and read reviews etc of the hotel you are going to be staying at see what people’s general opinions are of it.

Food is a big consideration because choosing a holiday where you won’t eat the food can make it miserable. Children particularly need to be catered for because they are less likely to ‘make do’ and just eat what is on offer. See if the hotel you are going to be staying at offers English food, or try and see what restaurants are local that you can eat at.

Basically bear in mind the needs of everyone so that you can all enjoy the holiday as much as possible.
